Hurricane Preparedness Tool Kit for Accommodations
Visit St. Pete/Clearwater's Accommodations Hurricane Preparedness Tool Kit includes useful resources to help our accommodation partners be better prepared in the event of a weather related emergency. Please use the resources, information and expert advice presented below as general guidelines that will give you the information you need to create an Emergency Action Plan for your tourism-related business.
It's also important to note that beginning this hurricane season, the National Hurricane Center will provide greater lead time in tropical cyclone watches and warnings. As a result of advances in observational capabilities, tropical storm and hurricane watches and warnings for threatened coastal areas will be issued 12 hours earlier than in previous years.
