ST. PETERSBURG (March 8, 2007) --- Race fans will get their motors running on
Saturday, March 24, at RumRunners Beach Bar, located in the Sirata Beach Resort on St.
Pete Beach, to watch the season opener of the 2007 IndyCar Series.

The event, which will be held from 7:30 p.m. - 11 p.m., is hosted by the St.
Petersburg/Clearwater Area Visitors and Convention Bureau on behalf of the Honda
Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. The broadcast of the XM Satellite Radio Indy 300 from
Homestead-Miami Speedway starts at 8 p.m. and can be viewed on large screen
televisions in the unique beachside setting at RumRunners.

Drawings for racing-themed prizes will be held throughout the evening and a
Grand Prize drawing for a four-pack of tickets to the Sunday, April 1 running of the
Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will be held at 9 p.m. The first 50 racing fans to
arrive at RumRunners will receive a special gift, you can pre-register at

Now in its third year, the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg is one of the most
popular annual events in Florida and features world class auto racing, concerts, Drifting
exhibitions and interactive family activities, all held over three days in St. Petersburg.
This year’s event will be held March 30-April 1 and will showcase the IndyCar Series on
Sunday, April 2, the Acura Sports Car Challenge of St. Petersburg American Le Mans
Series race on Saturday, March 31 and two Indy Pro Series races, with one run on
Saturday and one on Sunday of event weekend.

Tickets for the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg range from $25 to $110 and
are available at all TicketMaster ticket centers or through the Honda Grand Prix office.
