CVB SCORES HIGH ON SATISFACTION SURVEY

CLEARWATER, FL (November 8, 2006) – Not only does the sunshine make people happy on
Florida’s Beach but the service customers receive from the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Area CVB gives them more reasons to smile.
“The CVB is in the customer service business. This survey helps to know how we are serving our customers and understand how effective we are,” said Carole Ketterhagen, Executive Director for the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Area CVB. “This information is of great value to us.”
The survey was sent to more than 100 meeting planners, tour operators, travel agents, travel
writers, sports organizers, event planners and aviation experts who work with the CVB. The
survey was designed by the county’s Economic Development Office and conducted online. The
margin of error was +/- 3 %. The CVB received a 98.4 % score in the area of over all satisfaction. The CVB’s marketing program received a score of 96.8%; professionalism and knowledge of the CVB staff was rated at 98%; a score of 98.3 % in the timeliness of their responses to the community; and a score of 96.8 % in quality information received from the CVB.
Some of the comments received from the survey included quotes such as, “Always a pleasure to working with such a professional team in the U.S. or in Germany.” And, “You’ve got an exemplary team that should be a model for other organizations and businesses.”
