It's a whole new "high tech" way to step up and enjoy the city, without gasoline. This mode of
transport runs on batteries. Glide into the future as you cruise the sights, sounds and photo ops of
the beautiful waterfront of downtown St. Petersburg. All ages and abilities can enjoy a guided tour
on a Segway Human Transporter.
The Segway is an electrically powered, two-wheeled marvel that provides a quiet, easy-to-use
solution to short term pedestrian travel. Resembling a futuristic push lawnmower, Segways use
technology called Dynamic Stabilization with tilt sensors and gyroscopes to perfectly balance itself
and the rider for an effortless glide.
All 1 1/2 hour tours leave at 10:30a.m. and 3p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. One-hour tours leave at
1pm, and 3pm on Sunday and 12:30.pm., 2:30p.m. and 4:30p.m. on Monday. All tours leave from
The Museum of History, in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg. Segways are electrically powered,
tipless, two-wheeled transporters that will allow you to effortlessly glide down the walkways and
byways of beautiful waterfront St. Petersburg and enjoy "celebrity status" attention as you go!

Located throughout the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area, this 37-mile long, 15-foot wide trail is part of
the county park system and is one of the longest linear parks in the southeastern United States. It
enables visitors and residents alike to bike, in-line skate, jog or walk -- all without the hassle and
safety concern of being in automobile traffic. There are rental shops for bikes and skates at
numerous points along the trail. The trail runs from the sponge docks at the north end of Tarpon
Springs to St. Petersburg in the south end of the county. The original rail track saw the first Orange
Belt Railroad train in 1888. The first stretch of rail line opened for recreation in 1990.
Stop for lunch in downtown Dunedin at Al Frescos or Sea Sea Rider’s. Park your bike and stroll
down Main Street and shop for antiques. Molly Goodheads in Ozona, Tarpon Springs sponge docks
