VSPC Partners with World's Largest Restaurant Chain to Promote Area

St. Pete/Clearwater, FL (September 13, 2012) - Visit St. Pete/Clearwater is popping up across America in more than 25,000 SUBWAY locations and on national TV advertisments throughout September as the official vacation destination for a month-long promotion with the world's largest restaurant chain.
VSPC is one of just four grand prize providers for the SUBprize Party, a multi-tiered promotion providing daily prizes throughout the month of September to celebrate SUBWAY's 47th birthday.
To participate, consumers can pick up specially marked promotional cups or Doritos® chips with codes that can be redeemed for a chance to win the Grand SUBprize being given away that day.
The St. Pete/Clearwater area is featured this month on SUBWAY's TV ads and online with SUBWAY's 16 million Facebook fans, 4.5 million e-newsletter subscribers and 700,000 Twitter followers. VSPC is also featured on in-store promotional materials, like window clings, table toppers and chip-rack displays, to further promote the chance to win beach getaways to St. Pete/Clearwater.
In conjunction with today's SUBWAY promotion celebrating America's best beaches, VSPC is also giving away $5 SUBWAY gift cards through a Twitter contest.
